Title: About Seduction
Author: Walkure
Rating: G
Characters: Glorfindel, Erestor
Word Count: 197
Disclaimer: The rhyme is mine but the warrior and the councillor are
J.R. Tolkien's
Challenge: Day 6 – Poet? You Know It
Summary: Glorfindel, in a moment of brain-vacation absence, dares to
dare Erestor. The fool thinks such reserved and respected councillor
is not able to lose his hair once in a while.
Forgive my doubts about this issue, my dear.
But imagining you so,
feels foreign and weird.
Your beauty is not in question here
but picturing you in certain… disposition, I fear.
The same I could say about this matter;
for rushing into things
and fighting a way through
seemed a better suited behaviour,
for a warrior such as you.
Is that so, my dear councillor?
About such bold statement
I would have you giving proof
Or going back on your words
I shall dare you.
Such a challenge I should promptly answer
You will await for me here
And upon my return
You will realise your folly
For my touch you will crave
And only on my terms a sample I will give.
My slave for a season
You shall be.
A confident warrior, disciplined, and used to restrain,
a black-robed councillor in the garden left
And then an impersonation of beauty and lust returned
Living seasoned fighting skills a puddle on the garden floor
Of all thought, reason and speech bereft
Upon entering the gardens
A councillor and warrior they were
But as beauty and its slave they left
To willingly fulfil a season-deal
To enjoy eternity in each other embrace.
