It was written in a number of books and talked about by scholars, but there are always nonbelievers who declare they shall only believe it once they see it.

When he saw it, Erestor’s jaw nearly hit the ground. If there had been any flaws the first time, someone had seen to fixing them. Glorfindel was pure perfection, and it made Erestor nervous as they introduced themselves to each other. Anxiety gave way to curiosity, which in turn developed into something altogether unexpected.

“What grace – what utter discipline,” said Erestor as he and Elrond watched the warrior on the practice field.

Elrond gave a slight nod, but his eyes wandered about the arena, examining the extent of his army’s prowess and strength.

Erestor’s gaze stayed focused upon his target.
