So this is fun! I haven't left reviews on auntie zhie things for a while, I thought I'd try it out. :3

I've been rereading your stuff in the evenings a lot, because it's fun sleepytime stories and there are so many cute little fluffy things to find.

I forgot about this fic for the longest time, and just stumbled upon it again, and had to comment to flail and grin. Seems like the surprise wedding theme isn't new to you. ;D

I love all the little things you always manage to do. Like Legolas being 'self-centered' enough to worry if people noticed his fidgeting, and Gimli's dry answers. Or Glorfindel being all emotional and worked up and Erestor writing a poem on the spot to show his love. You always manage to convey characters so awesomely through the little details.

And the end, with the title of the poem being "My Husband", I feel like that says so much in so little, too. Erestor titling something his *husband*, even though he's still so shy about it and scared to admit his own sexuality, just seems so adorably sweet and loving. ♥

what is this stone???a simaril??or?so fin inally will marry ress thats wonderful

Author's Response: Indeed, it is a silmaril, the one that was cast into the ocean by Maglor ^_^ It has a lot to do with the canon comments made by Erestor and Glorfindel in the chapter 'The Council of Elrond' where suggestion was made by Glorfindel to toss the ring into the sea, with the idea being it wouldn't come back and be safe there... as Maglor had once cast a silmaril out to sea, I thought it would be appropriate to have Glorfindel find it when it finally washed ashore.
