Death in the First Age by Zhie
Author's Notes:
This particular part is from Erestor's point of view after Glorfindel's death.
I wait in vain
Stand on the ledge
Look down
Frown
Wish I could forget
Hope I remember
Rough rocks and cold stone
Such a contrast to his spirit
To his soul
They lead me away
Cannot stay
But I return
To find
Golden flowers on the grave
And weep
Because
I remember him
And I know he will remember me
