“If only you could stay.” He stayed cloaked, hound faithful at his side.
“You know I cannot.” Celegorm lifted his sword and chopped the rope of the ship from the dock. “You could come with us,” he said suddenly amid the cursing and the screams.
“I am sick from this.” The cloaked figure held his head, while the dog beside him whined.
“The ships are leaving!” bellowed Feanor from a crow’s nest.
Celegorm frowned. “I have to go.”
His arm was caught. “Do not fall into all those sad stories. Here, take Huan.” The dog obediently leapt onto the ship.
