Let me put it this way... even reborn Elves have parents. I think you enjoy figuring out the riddles slightly more than me just telling you the answer.

'Reawakening' is only mildly helpful in figuring this out; recalling who had a soft spot for Gondolin might be more helpful.

There is a story started about it, but it's not posted here (I don't think at least...) that I'll send you in a few days...

This is actually the second time I've read this story. I don't know if I read it elsewhere the first time and commented on it there or not... Regardless, I really enjoyed reading this story on both occasions and the story has stayed with me. I really, really like the idea of Glorfindel being taken with the idea of diving to see Gondolin, and you've presented the idea so well and wittily. So thank you again for a very enjoyable read.

That is rather clever. I never thought of that. Of course there would be a skull there, wouldn’t there be? Hum… this was well written. I rather liked the hints of the pipe-weed and such things. Well done.

This was written in honor of a very special friend and fellow fanfic author who recently passed on (crossed the sea west, as we like to say) and I guess that could be part of how that message got in there. And thanks for the congrats, however, it's more a matter of me not being so lazy to get the stories posted, lol... I've been over 300 stories on my own archive (pounce.dreamelf.com) for some time... but... it will be nice to join Sivan up there in the hundred fic club officially ^_^
